Job Description

Dynamics of the Role

An opportunity has presented itself within TransUnion's growing operation in Hong Kong. The successful candidate is accountable for identifying and closing sales opportunities through existing accounts and relationships in Hong Kong. He/she should have an understanding of the banking life cycle, including acquisition, customer retention and portfolio management.

 

How You’ll Contribute

  • Identify business opportunities to support sales revenue, new projects, new accounts and new products.
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory, including but not limited to strategic target and initiatives, business plan, sales activities, and product development.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentation materials. Responsible for annual sales target and achievement of sales target
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts within the financial services industry 
  • Prioritize, align and support challenging projects with focus on revenue and customer satisfaction. 
  • Function as a key account manager. Take responsibility on contract negotiations and deal closing 
  • Support marketing activities to integrate sales efforts upon organized marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, seminars, advertising and exhibitions.
  • Increase brand awareness of TransUnion as a global leader in credit and information management
  • Support the line manager on new lines of business and create enthusiasm on corporation goals, assignments and projects
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • University graduate or above
  • At least 5 years of sales/business development experience in a multinational company preferably in financial services, solutions consulting, fraud, analytics industries
  • Ability to relate to and engage with various levels within a client’s organization and have strong networking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong at relationship building
  • Energetic, persistent and self-starting. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
