Siemens Digital Industries Customer Service team is seeking a dynamic Business Manager to lead a team of technical consultants and project delivery specialists. Along with the team the successful candidate will help with the development of effective solution proposals to our clients to help them achieve their goals around digitalisation & sustainability. With our fantastic remote working policy, a location across the UK is flexible The successful candidate will be responsible for: Development of effective digitalisation & sustainability solution proposals working alongside a team of experienced consultants and the strategic sales team. Delivery of successful paid upfront and 'Outcome Based' digitalisation & sustainability projects Support the wider DI businesses with related product sales Drive BU specific business, approve on bid/no bid for performance contracts Develop close working relationships between all elements of Service/Sales/Tech BU Formulate, monitor, and control the development and needs of the team Agree, set, monitor and achieve key productivity target and cascade to all individual team members Develop, nurture, and maintain a best practice EHS culture Full profit & loss responsibility for the respective business/es Full responsibility for the key financials and therefore also to agree the BTAs (targets/ measures) Required competencies: Knowledge/ experience of digitalisation and or sustainability projects focused on process optimisation and demand reduction. Knowledge/ experience of Outcome Based contracting (revenue based on results delivered to customer over an agreed period). Sound Financial Knowledge Excellent communication and networking skills Strong leadership and coaching skills Ability to cultivate relationships with critical customers, field sales team and internal partners with an ability to influence results without direct control Customer focused with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction Sound understanding of Process and Process Improvement Programmes Ability to demonstrate and maintain high levels of energy and passion and present ideas and views in a supportive and constructive manner Ideally an engineering background with electrical/ mechanical/ chemical bias.
