Job Description

About the assignment

Business navigator ("BN") is to challenge & support the rest of the organization in performance management and goal setting. The BN should also provide and visualize action oriented conclusions built on fact based analyses and business insights.

Your main assignment as Business Navigator are:

  • Perform first level of business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks, and present them in a clear and actionable manner
  • Identify and act on potentials for business performance, improvements and costs development
  • Develop and update the Risk Register and proactively define mitigation actions together with risk owners in the business
  • Contribute to the APL and goal setting process
  • Manage costs, forecast results and drive organizational efficiency
  • Development of tools and working methods related to Business Navigation
  • Challenge and support the categories and global operations with simulations, scenarios and forecasts
  • Responsible for the input to Pricing process

For positions with a dual assignment as Category Area / Operations management team member the following additional assignment apply:

  • Member of either the Category Area or Operations management teams with responsibility to jointly drive the total agenda in the respective part of the business
  • In close cooperation with the respective management team, lead, challenge and support the Business Navigation agenda in Category Areas and Operations dimensions
  • Ensure consideration and integration of the full SCO Navigation agenda and perspectives into the Category Areas and Operations

Qualifications

About you

  • University degree in economics, finance, business administration or relevant working experience
  • good knowledge of IKEA Supply Chain and processes
  • good process / project and indirect leadership skills
  • high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as proven experience from using Business Intelligence tools
  • Good communication skills

This assignment will be based at IKEA Supply (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd temporary management office at Kota Kemuning during the establishment period and to be relocated to the new Distribution Centre in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia by end of year 2020.
