MAIDAP hires the best and the brightest university talent and provides them with real-world AI experiences, coaching, and training to hone their AI competencies and accelerate their path to become future AI leaders at Microsoft. 


MAIDAP is a new two-year rotation program. Our engineers work on new projects every six months, sourced from all across the company. There is always something new to tackle!  
We seek someone to be the engine behind our program’s day-to-day operations. The MAIDAP Business Operations Associate will use their strong operational skills to help deliver the ideal experience for our team and our partners. Our ideal candidate would have a passion for supporting the development of early-in-career talent. 

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive all recurring MAIDAP processes, including regular stakeholder communications, transitions/office moves, equipment and infrastructure procurement, inventory management, and new hire set up.   
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with MAIDAP’s cohort members, managers, sponsor contacts, alumni, and HR partners.  
  • Partner with the Finance Team to drive the financial planning and budgeting for MAIDAP. Own all expense reporting, budget tracking, and reconciliation activities. 
  • Own headcount responsibilities, including working with MAIDAP’s sponsors to provision positions in a timely manner. 
  • Partner with University Recruiting in providing local logistical support in hiring top university talent. 
  • Continuously look for ways to simplify and drive process improvements and efficiencies. 
     

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program support experience. 
  • 2+ years of stakeholder or customer communications experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Associates degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated capability to lead and be a strong contributor. 
  • Strong influence and collaboration skills, including a track record of working effectively with senior leaders, managers, and millennial employees. 
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills. 

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
