Intel Labs WW Operations is looking for a Business Operations Manager to complement our existing team. The team is chartered to create the research environment and efficient operational practices that enable Intel Labs (IL) to deliver world class technology. We partner with support organizations such as Finance, HR, IT, and CS to meet lab and corporate requirements.

Working alongside senior operations managers in Intel Labs, the successful applicant will provide support and eventual ownership of operational programs such as:

• Budget, corporate compliance, hiring and diversity.
• Management of the overall lab budgets including working with finance and individual cost center owners to forecast and reallocate funding as required by research priorities.
• OKR development and tracking for individual projects and overall lab goals.
• Work with directors and researchers to ensure data integrity in IL's Workstream process and facilitate project and gate reviews.
• Development of applications to automate operational processes.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or Business Management discipline.

1+ year experience on below area:

• MS Excel and a desire to further grow in this area.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in an Operations or Program Management role.
• Knowledge and experience with HR and Finance systems and tools and ability to resolve where these systems overlap or conflict.
• Knowledge and experience with Corporate Systems tools and processes including Space allocation/management, enterprise location
• Knowledge and experience with Intel Legal tools and process including Export Controls.
• Experience with business group level management of internal audit requirements, risk assessment, and business continuity.
• Experience with design and implementation of organizational improvement initiatives such as those resulting from OHS or LFT/MFT response.
• Experience developing web tools/automation solutions specifically addressing the above areas.
• Develop/build small scale Excel VBA/Python applications along with VBA/Python scripts to automate operational processes
• Experience maintaining/supporting existing MS Excel VBA and Python applications
• Experience with and/or knowledge of Intel's Research directions/programs would be an added advantage.
