Introduction

The purpose of this role is to provide partnership to stakeholders. The job holder will need good execution skill, strong analytical capability, superior problem-solving skills, strong technical, functional & business acumen and familiarity with change management as well as capability to work with a globally located organization. Business Partner will need to interact with executive leaders, be able to create story lines to communicate service business initiatives and the value creation achieved.

 

What are we looking for?

• MBA in Finance CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA or relevant finance experience
• 6-8 years of progressively responsible FP&A or accounting experience, consolidation / close at unit or greater level
• HFM and SAP Experience or Equivalent ERP system is preferred
• 5-8+ years of experience working in a finance/planning environment
• Experience of working in a global function/organization (working across different time-zones/regions).
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to successfully influence associates within & outside the S&F function.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Knowledge in SAP & MS Office (Strong Excel skills desired, i.e. pivot tables)
• Fluency in English is essential

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

Financial analysis

• Create a detailed tracking model and lead the quarterly global review of costs & benefits
• Create effective tools for and perform the tracking of actual cost, coordinate actual cost & benefits tracking across all segments globally
• Create reporting and/or presentation of all financial aspects of the project
• Decide on and create critical insights and ad-hoc analysis
• Develop reporting to translate Service Business project activities to a segment value story
• Ensure the finance governance and proper controls are in place
• Identify and highlight risks for KPI delivery with solution recommendations
• Identify risks through process review, and financial analysis and take proper actions
• Manage the cost allocation and billing process of service business. Develop robust cost allocation methodology and maintain proper allocation to business unit.
• Manage the cost billing process to ensure all the costs are properly billed to business units
• Manage the finance closing process to ensure it is completed timely and accurately
• Participate in the mid-term and long term planning of service business
• Prepare performance communication decks
• Provide operational support to MGS service businesses and MGS Overhead Functions with their actual and plan, including budget manager training and support during plan cycles
• Support the financial integration of acquired businesses, as applicable
• Track and Report periodic & YTD results vs latest budget, flat out the current view of “Risks & Opportunities”, communicate key variances and maintain rolling year-end forecasts whilst maintaining continual alignment with key stakeholders

Project Management

• Expect to be involved in ad hoc analysis projects
• Support business case development for new Service Business opportunities
