The Business Performance Reports Specialist is responsible for designing and preparing reports, dashboards, analyses and presentation materials pertaining to agency channel performance as well as providing regular communications support in ensuring agency staff are aligned with key initiatives and action that will help achieve business targets.

  • Develop relevant reports, dashboards and presentation materials pertaining to agency channel performance on a regular basis such as weekly Agency Command Center report, bimonthly Sales Report with Region Heads, etc.

  • Effectively communicate reports and insights through the use of analytics software and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

  • Provide regular communications support in ensuring agency staff are aligned with key initiatives and action in driving achievement of monthly business targets. Liaise with various agency workstreams and business units in preparing communications materials for the CAO and ASG staff.

  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor in order to deliver operational and/or other requirements.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of any 4 or 5 year college course preferably in the field of statistics, actuarial, mathematics, business economics, or industrial engineering    

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the area of MIS reporting, and analytics

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to probe all relevant resources to maximize results

  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Results-driven with a track record of producing accurate, thorough and professional work  

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize initiatives to support business growth

  • Self-motivated and assertive professional with the ability to influence cross functionally and to drive self and others for results

  • Knowledge and work experience with Life Insurance Agency Sales Distribution, preferred

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel; knowledge and dashboarding skills in analytics/data modeling software such as Power BI, Tableau a plus
