Business Planning & Analysis Manager

This role can be performed remotely.

Accountabilities

Report to MEA Finance Sr. Manager

  • Ensure business decisions are data driven
  • Ensure required resources are allocated for revenue planning, market research, business analysis
  • Support MEA FP&A processes
  • Identify and ensure best practice sharing

Responsibilities

  • Plan and effectively allocate resources to provide required support to commercial and finance organization
  • Provide relevant information for commercial strategy
  • Gather quantitative data from internal and external sources and generates insights
  • Collaborate with ELMAC / WEMEA business information and data teams to ensure MEA is adopting the same dashboard standards.
  • Maintain and develop Tableau dashboards to track business performance
  • Run and follow up regional market research activities
  • Collect affiliate/country level data for KPI tracking and executive reporting
  • Manage and support forecasting process and assesses opportunity sizing / demand assumptions for financial forecasting cycles
  • Coordinate tight integration of Demand and OPEX assumptions between SME and Finance
  • Develop market and financial analyses in support of the product strategy and supports strategic brand planning process
  • Support regional project management and cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate with IS to implement systems and processes initiated on both regional and affiliate level
  • Manage GMIP process with affiliate and regional finance teams
  • Coordinate and support business/financial presentations, regional meetings, business reviews, townhalls and leadership/operational team meetings
  • Develop productive relationships with assigned Sales & Marketing Effectiveness and Finance Country Leads to define and orchestrate the collection, analysis, and communication of secondary market data and strategic insights

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant University Degree
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • 2-4 years of experience in market research, business analysis, finance and marketing
  • Integral knowledge of the pharmaceutical business
  • Knowledge of the buying process in the hospital market
  • Demonstrated experience in working in multinational companies and cross-functional environments
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced degree(s) in Business (MBA) or Science
  • Experience in some areas of pharmaceutical sales and marketing
  • Track record of successfully establishing and maintaining business processes
  • Record of success in participation on and in supporting teams
  • Excellent Excel / PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to handle data from diverse sources in Excel, Tableau or similar
  • Experience using data visualization tools, particularly Tableau
