Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Global Ariba Sourcing Lead

  • Responsible for overall system governance and management for Ariba Strategic Sourcing. Role of designated support contact for the tool.
  • Responsible for issue resolution and enhancement requests logging, tracking and performance.
  • Lead monthly forums with subject matter experts and ensure they are aware of functionality updates and improvements.
  • Responsible for quarterly release readiness and testing for system enhancements and changes including communication and change management.
  • Responsible to keep training materials and documentation up to date.

General Data Manipulation and Reporting

  • Provide purchasing specific data for requested reports by Purchasing Leadership and others
  • Establish and maintain APAC Purchasing Dashboards in reporting tool
  • Establish and maintain APAC Purchasing Hub areas
  • Perform analytic review to identify process improvement opportunities, conduct process improvement investigation and activities (prepare and present proposals)
  • Publish APAC purchasing regular Scorecards & KPIs, conduct analysis for performance improvement

Information Management and Systems

  • Support digitization project development and deployment
  • Designated support contact and regional support for other Ariba tools of Buying and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance.
  • Promote performance improvements within the APAC Purchasing organization through development of associates, improvement of systems and performance monitoring
  • Investigate and approve information technology related requests
  • Act as APAC purchasing liaison with other functions through participation in cross-functional analysis, process design, and projects on an as needed basis
  • Proactively investigate and lead the review of purchasing processes to manage future changes and developments in company practice, legislation requirements and industry practice
  • Lead purchasing data reviewing and cleansing to support the transformation to a data-driven organization
  • Fundamentally understand data structure and attribute in various purchasing tools & systems
  • Design and develop data model, able to integrate various data source, consume, structure and transform master data into business insight to support decision making, including purchasing SLA to business end users, indirect catalog assessment and evaluation, new sourcing efficiency and compliance, contract establishment and execution, spend analysis, supplier performance management, key material/supplier supply risk assessment

Compliance for APC Purchasing

  • Lead the compliance activities for APAC purchasing related SOX and Internal Audit controls.
  • Maintain and administer local Purchasing procedures
  • Provide necessary purchasing standpoint information wherever required by compliance team for investigation
  • Develop/implement purchasing process/governance to address regional needs under global guideline, act as role for training and coaching

Education and Experience

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 5+ years related experience.

Required 2+ years prior experience with Ariba Strategic Sourcing.

SAP Experience

Knowledge of audit and compliance

Project Management

Advanced Excel Skillset

Ability to work with various business groups and manage multiple projects at one time
