Eaton’s Business Relationship Management and Enterprise Service & Performance has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Relationship Manager. This role will partner with the Mission Systems Division (MSD) BRM & SVP/GM of the MSD Davenport site of the Aerospace group and have ownership for key programs impacting MSD Davenport and/or the wider MSD group. This role can sit any Eaton US facility; however, there is a preference for this to be co-located with business partners in Davenport, Iowa. Position Overview: This role is the primary IT partner with the MSD BRM, SVP/GM and SLT of a large / medium global business and/or large functional group, ensuring delivery of the key technology components and systems that enable achievement of key strategic initiatives for the businesses. The BRM will align the IT strategies with the business strategies, developing associated initiative roadmaps and priorities accordingly. The BRM will also partner and align roadmaps and priorities with the enterprise IT Value Chain teams to effectively manage the business IT project portfolio, system support, and associated budgets. In this function you will: Ensure IT alignment with customer strategy - customer advocate Ensure customer alignment with IT strategy and IT guiding principles. Eliminate projects that are not aligned with the IT strategy, have weak business benefits or are duplicate solutions to existing enterprise software portfolio Ensure solutions aligned with and supports architecture standards. Partner with architecture team if no standard exists Responsible to customer for service provider success Trusted advisor and introduce innovation Influence IT structures that support our customers - Product Teams, development, production support. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 7 years of IT experience Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or manager of people role Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications: PLM/PDM advanced understanding of Engineering design and manufacturing processes Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent) and supporting business processes Position Criteria: Intermediate to Advanced understanding of some of Eaton key application(s.) Intermediate to Advanced understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function. Intermediate understanding of IT industry trends and applicability to operation Advanced understanding of ERP processes preferred. Advanced understanding of Engineering design and manufacturing processes Basic financial acumen managing a budget.
