To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As a Business SIOP Leader you will be responsible for leading the SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process for one of Eaton's Electrical businesses with $750m of sales plus responsible for the day-to-day management of the supplier replenishment process, which includes management of Supplier Purchase orders, , Goods in transit inventory and supplier invoicing and payment. The SIOP Leader is specifically responsible by working with multiple manufacturing sites globally to lead, facilitate, and compile the monthly SIOP process and requirements plan and review with senior business management to get approval and alignment prior to release.. The Leader will coordinate sales and marketing forecasts into a demand and supply plan that will satisfy customer expectations, while minimizing inventory investment, and maximizing customer growth opportunities. The Leader will analyse data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution. The leader will be responsible for the relevant SIOP process metrics, the SIOP process maturity, forecast errors, and the linkage into financial forecasts. The position will have direct reports (1-5) to support in the day to management of the replenishment model and the SIOP process. This position will grow in responsibilities as the scope of the role increases and provides the applicant with a unique opportunity to join a strong supply chain team in a large growth values based company. Job Responsibilities Deployment of Eaton's SIOP 5 step process, including portfolio management, demand planning, supply planning and driving SIOP meetings across cross functional team. Leads the monthly consensus demand process, including reporting to senior management on forecasts, assumptions, risks and opportunities. Documents and challenges forecast assumptions based on the analysis of market data, industry dynamics, statistics, business trends, and demand patterns. Provides SIOP leadership, drives organizational capability leading to continuous improvement of the forecast process and the adoption of best practices. Lead the development of a robust demand forecast that is aligned to sales and marketing expectations, including an analytical driven demand planning monthly process. Champion a culture of change and continual improvement through performance measures and feedback to the participants in the Supply Chain process. Monitor changes in the key business drivers, perform analysis, and possess the ability to shape the analytical findings into a meaningful business impact analysis. Query databases for information required for decision-making, primarily using Power BI. Optimize supply planning for NPI and product phase-out to reduce excess and obsolescence. Responsibility for the coordination and documentation of the SIOP Playbook by assigning appropriate resources for ownership of process documentation, tools, and resources need Demonstrates, trains and drives inventory improvement measures that support outputs in and out of the SIOP process Drive continuous improvement of the supply replenishment model, identifying process optimization and opportunities to expand scope. Mentor and develop direct reports in supply chain best practices. Qualifications The essential skills we are looking for Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required Five (5) years’ experience in materials management, including, master planning, scheduling, forecasting. Technical knowledge Three (3) year of experience with materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) Ideally experienced with SAP and Demantra Experience of supply chain planning and SIOP / SOP process APICS and/or ISM certification (preferred) Strong analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Fluency in English. Advanced Problem-Solving skills Expertise in driving business process improvement initiative Soft skills Organizational Change Management: Will be required to drive implementation of and coordination of the SIOP process. This will require excellent organizational management competencies, influencing skills and the ability and rigour to monitor compliance and performance metrics to drive proper behaviours. Cadence Management: Manages a repeatable monthly process at the Division level. Will consult with leadership to develop, define, and prioritize work structure, manage roadblocks, and engage stakeholders. Works across business process teams to assure successful delivery of a monthly SIOP site report measured by metrics, meeting minutes and Model Plant policy compliance. Communication: Will communicate across the division/site on metrics, process and improvement activities. This position will also create visual management displays to educate on metrics, process and improvement activities Management & Leadership: Will require supervisory capabilities in directing teams that are not directly reporting to the individual. Will need to demonstrate managerial courage to ensure cross-functional inputs and outputs are delivered timely. Problem Solving: Utilize problem solving disciplines to quantify adverse trending metrics and provide leadership advice on corrective actions necessary to correct these trends.
