The Retail Industry Team is part of Microsoft’s Enterprise Commercial organization. The Retail Industry Team is accountable for leveraging deep industry and technical expertise to enable sales teams and partners to deliver relevant, high-quality solutions and services to empower our commercial customers to digitally transform their businesses. Further they will guide our engineering teams to address key needs as part of the product roadmaps. This role is part of a marquee team for one of our most strategic accounts Walmart and will be responsible for contributing to the long term strategic vision for that account.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute partnership rhythm-of-the-business (ROB)/governance process
- Drive preparation and achieve outcomes for all leader meetings
- Represent the business in key stakeholder/customer engagements
- Collaborate with broader team leadership to drive strategic and evergreen business planning process
- Drive preparation and execution for all strategic business reviews surfacing key business insights (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc).
- Governance engagement and cadence with Walmart Strategic Resources
- Lead strategic initiatives and communications in alignment with leader/business needs (Horizon 2 and beyond). Track progress and drive completion of actions across business in alignment with executive commitments
- Lead, coordinate and communication of resources across Walmart executives and Microsoft executives (5G, Edge Compute, H&W, Store 8 and other strategic initiatives)
- Design, build and operate Walmart Business Management Office
- Serve as proxy for leader, as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Project/Program management experience
- Experience managing rythym of the business for a global orgranization
- Senior level experience managing stakeholders and supporting senior leaders
