Business System Analyst - SAP / VISTEX

At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

What you will do

You will be joining our Digital, Technology & Innovation (DTI) organization in a young and dynamic Vistex Product Team. The focus of this Product Team is global, except US, based in Breda, The Netherlands and the team is responsible to support the Vistex and related systems capabilities.

The SAP / VISTEX Business System Analyst will actively engage with the Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) and business process teams in delivering solutions based on business and industry-standard methodologies.

Besides that, you will support and drive Amgen's Vistex Contract and Pricing roadmap (including ERP transformation initiatives to S/4, V/4, and Cloud) and work closely with the Vistex Product Team that is passionate about Contracts and Pricing solutions and will provide technical leadership to help the product team design solutions that best fit business needs.

• Provide consultation to application owners and business partners regarding short and long-range architecture solutions to meet business imperatives.
• Recommend solutions and develop business case alternatives that anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers, and technology strategy. Aggressively facilitate the complex design and technical discussions, balancing different opinions and driving towards decisions.
• Translate business process, master data, and standard methodology requirements into executable design and work.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of incidents raised by the business.
• Support and deliver projects to implement changes to or extensions of the Global SAP / Vistex template in response to business requirements.
• Ensure solutions developed across functions are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles.
• Support and deliver the creation of business architecture models demonstrating how products, operations, and systems interoperate within the organization.

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The SAP / VITEX professional we seek is a strong communicator with these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience;
• Knowledge in the following areas: SAP Pricing, SAP Sales Order Entry, Billing, SD Pricing, Vistex Contract Management solution, Master Data Concepts, SAP ABAP Development;
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following Vistex topics: Price proposal, Contract Management, Approval Status Flow, Pricing - Price Simulation & Order execution, Deals, Composite Rebates, Claims, Claw back, Health Insurance, Settlements;
• Be able to multitask, balance improvements, help with issue resolutions, support the global architect lead on designs for larger projects, and support/lead pilots for new tools;
• Be a great teammate who can communicate and work effectively at all levels of an organization.
• Experience in supporting and leading projects/improvement initiatives.
• Travel up to 20-25% of both domestic and international
