Primary Job Function:

Primary liaison between IT and sites utilizing Maximo, a global Asset Management system used at 60+ Abbott manufacturing sites.  Applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for a business problem.  Works with clients on activities of moderate complexity; consults with clients and IT personnel to develop solutions to business or technical problems.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures
• Accountable for supporting project documentation for the software development lifecycle (SLC for Maximo, a critical Quality application)
• Supports Maximo system changes by:
  • Reviewing test data and create/review/execute validation documentation
  • Determining validation strategies based on business risk and design
  • Creating user acceptance tests to challenge system functionality
• Develops and maintains written procedures, user manuals and computer-based training modules for Maximo
• Investigates alternatives, which use existing application functionality
• Contributes to the design of systems, programs, and processes
• Responds to escalated incoming calls for incidents and service requests related to Maximo
• Determines business objectives of assignments
• Prepares, develops, and conducts clients and systems training
• Completes project tasks within time and budget constraints
• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

• No direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experience; advanced degree not required

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

• 2+ years experiencing working with Maximo or validation of a quality software system
• 1-2 years of experience preferred in software testing and utilizing testing tools such as HP Quality Center
