The Business Tools and Systems Support Specialist acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for development, integration and maintenance of digital tools and systems that facilitate business processes in SAP environment. As the Business Tools and Systems Support Specialist, you will work in close collaboration with internal and external IT community, business process owners and field sales and operations teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving business excellence. The main objective of this role is to achieve high operational reliability and efficiency of business tools and systems and implement new solutions to drive productivity. You will report directly to the Head of Business Excellence of the business unit. Your leadership skills, team player attitude, openness to feedback, adaptability, effective communication skills, and willingness to learn are key to your success in this position! What will you do? Collaborate with business process managers, IT demand manager and IT community to drive development of new strategic business tools, systems and processes, and adoption and implementation of existing tools, systems and processes. Support the organization in achieving business and IT strategy. Identify, analyze and recommend, and present to management business tools and systems solutions having broad business impact. Provide project leadership and management for development and integration projects; Report projects status and metrics to senior management and key stakeholders. Develop and lead User Acceptance Test plans and pilots and coordinate with field organization and functional departments implementation and adoption of tools, systems, and processes. Conduct training on tools, systems, and processes, define communication measures to support change management process. Maintain and update business tools, systems, and processes in line with changes in the business. Manage user assignment and creation of reports as demanded by the business. Lead superuser communities to drive tools, systems and processes usage efficiency. Support users for fast issue resolution. Escalate systems, tools and process issues to corporate IT and track progress. Leverage Subject Matter Expertise in SAP, responsible for migration and testing in the business, and adoption of local tools, systems, and processes. Location: Oakville, ON office is the preferred location, however, the successful candidate may be based out of one of our main office locations. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent 5+ years related work experience in IT Management, Project/Service/Finance Management and business process improvement (BPI) exposure Knowledge of SAP system, Project System Module preferred Experience in the following methodologies: Agile, Continual Improvement, and Lean Proficiency with Microsoft office suite of tools Strong communication and Change Management skills; collaborative style Strong verbal and written English communication skills Travel – approx. 20% could be expected for business roll out as needed (when conditions improve) Assets (Nice-to-Have): MS SQL Server / Business Intelligence experience; bilingual French communication skills About us.
