The Siemens Chemical, Glass & Solar Community is a worldwide team of experts on mission to develop Siemens as a reliable partner in these verticals. As Business Development Professional for Chemical, Glass & Solar verticals, you will be responsible to achieve the agreed business KPI’s by increasing coverage of Siemens products, systems, solutions, and services for automation, digitization, and electrification. Your main tasks or responsibilities under this profile would be as follows: Develop growth strategies for Siemens products, solutions & services in these verticals. Increase market transparency, create pull in the market, identify growth areas, plan & deploy strategies to increase Siemens share of wallet. Demonstrate strong collaboration with Sales to push Siemens Value Propositions in Electrification, Automation & Digitalization. Collaboration with VM headquarters of chemicals to align & synchronize regional strategies with global strategies. Work closely with Consultants, EPC, OEMs, and End-users to get Siemens approved as one of the preferred Vendors. Support with Product Enlistment at key customers. Support in Budgetary and Firm offer submissions to EPC, consultants, and end-users. Promote Siemens technology & strive to become the partner of choice for customers. Undertake regular communication with customers on topics pertaining to latest innovations, trends and technological developments and ensure Siemens’ success. Organize workshops & meeting with management, formulate sector-specific sales and marketing processes including market communication activities. Drive innovations and create confidence on sustained willingness of relationship. Ensure dissemination of knowledge / learning & imparting training to internal salespeople for enhanced domain knowledge. Profile (Experience, Qualification, Inter-Personal Skills) 8+ years of industry experience with Degree in Instrumentation / Electricals / Electronics with good knowledge of LV Electrification, Instrumentation, Automation & Process Control. Having in-depth Knowledge about the chemical industry - its dynamics, customer challenges, process know-how, growth drivers, key players & technology requirements. Having excellent Presentation and Communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with internal and external partners / stakeholders of all levels. Having Key Account Management skills & strategic mindset with effective customer orientation and readiness to intensive working, travel ( < 50% time ) and multi-tasking. We are Siemens!
