This is a Buyer role reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Team Lead in the Business Area - Process Automation located in Xiamen, China. You will be responsible for indirect material sourcing and purchasing responsibility to achieve Purchase Order (PO) implementing based on Purchase Requisition (PR) request.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for indirect PR to PO and indirect materials and service sourcing.
• Managing the suppliers and defining the requirements.
• Creating/maintaining the contract.
• Supporting compliance management and inquiry support.
• Achieving defined KPI targets and issuing resolution.
• Ensuring reports and compliances are in place.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or major in Engineering/International trading.
• Minimum two years of work experience in sourcing, purchasing and MRPII.
• Must have basic knowledge in electrical/machinery/industrial/manufacturing engineering/International trading.
• Must be good at international business and basic knowledge in finance, legal and Quality Management.
• Fair knowledge in whole purchasing and sourcing process for indirect material, strong cost saving awareness and price bargain ability.
• Strong knowledge in business negotiating and international trading skill.
• Proficient in Office and ERP system skill.
• Fluency in English listening, reading and writing.
