Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a Buyer to join our team. This position is based at our Tijuana Facility. The Buyer is responsible for performs activities of planning, procuring, negotiation and follow up with the purpose of providing a variety of commodities to support the planning process of Aerospace manufacturing, with a focus in continuous improvement throughout the different processes. Some activities related with the position will be: Procure direct and indirect materials to support production, always in accordance to the internal procedures and policies. Develop strong supplier relationships. Apply problem solving tools and analysis techniques to solve procurement related problems. Control and improve KIPs such as: Supplier On Time Delivery, Customer On time Delivery, Inventory, Invoices on Hold, Action Messages, Cost Out, etc. Maintain and align order policy parameters according to Corporate guidelines. Collect and report data from day to day operations to identify and propose improvements in terms of cost, delivery, quality, efficiency.
