Eaton at Haina, Dominican Republic, is currently seeking for a Buyer to join our team. Roles & responsibilities for this role are as follow: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsibilities include but not limited to execute and maintain SIOP process, Monthly Load Plan, prepare MPS to achieve desired customer service. As well as the procedures relating to the area of local and international purchases to ensure supplies of materials needed for each area of the organization, selecting the right suppliers, negotiate and carry out orders according to established departmental requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage schedules and materials inventories to meet required customer service levels, lead times, and inventory turn goals, for assigned product types. Maintains and achieve Master Production Schedule based on line capacity, load plan and material availability. Responsible to maintain correct level of inventory for finished goods and raw materials for assigned products. Adheres to standard processes for the department as established by site leadership and/or divisional strategies. Responsible for executing Profit Plan targets for metrics assigned Ownership & accountability for their parts to comply with demand to ensure zero material downtime and optimal inventory levels Responsible to prevent and dispose E&O materials and Finished Goods. Identify, manage, and implement opportunities/projects to achieve the key business goals that are based on cost, quality and delivery. Responsible for daily sent all orders to each provider, track it and confirm receipt in our facility and delivered to the applicant. Responsible for releasing invoices in hold Timely response/ Proactive feedback to miscellaneous customers/Eaton care for the productions lines assigned Maintain effective communication process with internal and external customers (Vista Online Expedite, E-mail, telephone) Create and update daily customer orders records via Eaton Care. Notify production lines on customer priorities and emergencies. Develop a service-oriented organizational culture, through reports and campaigns. #LI-AR7 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field. Experience 1 - 3 years in similar positions. Bilingual (English / Spanish) Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office programs. Preferable knowledge in Oracle and AS400.
