Plan, carry out and control all purchasing activities in the context of defined categories (Cables, Motors, Solenoid, etc.) to meet the targets of price, quality and delivery reliability.
New supplier evaluation to meet business requirements of QCD and management the selected supplier base incl. reducing the material costs, local content development, ensuring the supply quality and delivery performance of the suppliers which are based worldwide.
Develop local supplier base to support local, region and global category business.
Research and study procurement market on defined categories (Cables, Motors, Solenoid, etc.) with respect to requirements of price, quality and delivery reliability.
Manage suppliers base including new supplier evaluations and develop category strategy which should be in line with company strategy.
Define and implement continuous cost reduction plan.
Contract management among business cooperation with suppliers, to secure cooperation and eliminate business legal risk.
Conduct negotiations with supplier for all respects of business topics.
Frequently report to the department manager about activities and results
Frequently communicate and maintain close relationship with suppliers and other departments across regions
Communicate with colleagues of purchasing network within Festo Worldwide Identify saving opportunities by technical innovation and drive technical saving projects.
Observe and react on procurement market as well as product development project driven changes.
Systematic problem solving and highly innovation approach in terms of cost optimization, quality, delivery issues from supplier side

Qualification Required:
1. At least bachelor’s degree (Technical background, Electronical/Electronics engineering preferably)
2. Good English communication skills
3. Skilled MS office and ERP system (SAP)
4. 3-8 years of relevant business experience necessary and international work experience is preferred
5. Procurement experience and detailed understanding of processes in procurement
6. Knowledges in key manufacturing process and the cost structure for defined categories
7. Highest business ethics and conduct
8. Negotiation skills and strong capability of problem-solving
9. Skills in sourcing activities
