– Support to develop Commodity Strategies and ensure the implementation of the approved Strategies

– Support to develop New Suppliers to support new initiatives and continuous improvement

– Lead or support annual price/contract negotiations

– Lead or support Cost down & VAVE initiatives across China

– Maintain and improve the relationship with Key Suppliers

– Monitor and Manage the risks of supply base, e.g. supplier M&A, financial difficulties, lawsuits, capacity, people instability.

– New facility launch support, including, but not limited to, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, payment management, and engineering changes negotiations/management as needed.

– New project supplier sourcing and engineering changes negotiations/management as needed.

– Other duties as required.

– Highly motivated, and proactive. Good negotiation skills. Teamwork. High communication skills working with JVs and other BUs. High ethic and integrity level.

– Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

– Three to five years experience with increasing responsibility in purchasing, quality, program management, or product design preferred.

– Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Excel and Powerpoint

– Fluent English and Mandarin
