Job Description

Position Summary

To manage and ensure supply of assigned parts in the most cost effective way and in line with the Materials Group Strategy.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Work with and support the Senior buyer
  • Help team to create reports and manage shared database
  • Support & Maintain Daily Shortage tools & Processes
  • Liaise on a Daily basis with Customer & SLC hub to resolve any queries
  • Work locally with Carriers & SLC receiving to ensure product gets delivered in line with Commit dates
  • Update weekly Purchase Orders.
  • Monitor inventories @ Exertis, Vendor Sites and In-Transit
  • Communicate regularly with vendors.
  • Expedite potential shortages.
  • Reviews vendor invoices, including shipping receipts, and resolves billing discrepancies.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Be capable of operating & co-ordinating activity within a multi-cultural environment
  • Capable of responding to multiple challenges in a positive and energetic fashion.
  • Capable of pulling information from a variety of sources both internal & external to our Client and be able to process & analyse this information & data.
  • Will and eagerness to learn and develop skill set


Education & Experience:

  • Working knowledge of MS office.
  • Able to participating cross functional project teams.
  • Fluent Mandarin & English
