Primary Function: Purchases and arranges timely deliveries of assigned items, suppliers, and materials; expedites as needed and acts as liaison between verndors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limit. Transactions may involve occasional modification of standard and commom usage items, supplies, materiales, and / or services. Conducts studies of material costs and suppliers services and recommends changes in purchasing procedures to improve service and / or reduce cost. Interview sales representatives and vendors. 

Essential Functions: 

A. Understand how to skillful negotiation with internal and external suppliers, solve problems, settle disputes, develop win-win resolutions and develop positive relations through tact, displimacy, and good judgement. 

B. Comprehends how to define and apply complex data analysis and analytucal toold for process improvements. 

C. Understands and applies process channel knowledge for acquiring materiales and / or services in order to ensure delivery requirements for commodities and / or service customers. 

D. Possesses fundamental and sound knowledge of the value chain process; and posseses the ability to analyze and interpret cost drivers when applying cost out strategies. 

E. Understand how to utilizes and apply project management tools and techniques for procurement applications. 

F. Prepares reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals. 

G. Observe and follow the Environmental, Qualiity and Health rules requiered for this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in commerce, business administration or related field. 

Good communications and customer care skills when interacting with both internal and / or external customers. 

Knowledge of supply chain and purchasing reporting system. 

Knowledge of Eaton commodity products and suppliers resources. 

Good knowledge of supply chain and purchasing requirements.

Sound knowledge of quality assurance and reporting accuracy. 

Knowledge and application skills of process improvment.
