Buyer for Stamping Parts/Raw Material, Trucks Asia – Japan
General responsibilities of a buyer:
- Understanding the cost structures of Stamping parts & Raw Material
- Establish of optimized Raw Material procurement scheme
- Establish a deep knowledge on automotive supply-base for the commodity
- Analyse the commodity continuously and seek for leverages/arguments that can be used to achieve target price levels  
- Negotiation of  target prices with suppliers, based on analysis (function, cost structure, market condition etc.)
- Drive the cost-reduction measures into implementation in a cross-functional and global set-up
- Market screening and development of new suppliers for the commodities to maintain healthy competition
Project management:
- Steering & project management of various engine/vehicle projects
- Awarding of suppliers, based on projects’ needs
