Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved
- Build and maintain positive relationship with our supplier’s, visits a factories to and monitor and assist with supplier issues.
- Dealing with supplier feedback, complaints and queries
- Sourcing and engage key suppliers within Asia
- Negotiate contract, price and terms with manufacturing partners
- Assess market in line with business strategy and make recommendations
- Managing all new suppliers, onboard them and ensure KPIs are measured
- Assess capacity and efficiency of suppliers to meet the client expectations
- Hold and document regular supplier reviews in unison with Factory Audit
- Increasing value delivered from our Asia suppliers using a “win/win” approach
- Provide ideas for process improvements and recommendations and advice to supply chain and commercial team on how to avoid additional costs and inefficiencies
- Report to Senior Management risk areas for consideration
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or above
- Minimum of 5 year experience working within Manufacturing or FMCG supply chain
- Proven sourcing ability including new sites, products and partners
- Strong relationship management and demonstrated negotiation skills and understanding of Manufacturing regulations
- Excellent communication and able to communicate with all levels of responsibility
- Genuine passion for manufacturing.
- Work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent, both written and verbally, in English & Mandarin
- Frequent travel is required.
