We are a recently formed software development team that aims to provide cutting-edge software simulators for CPUs. This effort is at the very heart of Intel’s CPU development.

We are looking for exceptional software engineers who enjoy developing in C/C++, appreciate software professionalism, and would like to tackle complex software projects.

In this role, you will dive into the depths of CPU simulation and leverage software development methodologies and techniques to lead simulation innovation. You will be involved with developing every aspect of the simulator, conforming to the highest levels of SW quality standards.

You will own, design, and implement SW modules within the simulator and resolve interesting technical challenges to meet aggressive quality, functional, and performance targets. In this position, you will have a direct impact on Intel’s products and a significant opportunity for personal growth!

Qualifications

• Strong SW professional with at least 5 years of experience working on complex SW projects.

• Experienced with developing in C/C++.

• Team player

• Skilled in modern C++ (version 14-17).

• Experience with developing under Linux.

• Experience with functional or performance modeling.

• Experience with developing multi-threaded code.

• Experience with program analysis and performance optimizations.

• Understanding of CPU microarchitectural concepts.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
