Global Business Services (GBS) is the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with outstanding business analysis and insight, enables our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities. Our remit covers record to report, procure to pay and order to cash, tax, planning & forecasting and management reporting, to customers across AZ Globally in Commercial, Science, Operations & Enabling Functions, Tax, Treasury and Group Finance. We are continuing our transformation journey with the objective of delivering excellence in financial operations.

Report directly to C2C Team Manager, you will be leading a team of 7 headcounts to ensure efficiency for sales order and billing processing and compliant with policies and quality standard. You will work closely with customers, the business and across the Finance functions to manage the processes and also drive standardization and process improvement projects with the global team.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day and month end closing activities performed by the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery for SO & Billing processes
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly revenue reporting and reconciliation
• Collaborate within sub-function teams to ensure smooth end-to-end process in C2C
• Develop and ensure good knowledge management and back-up processes for knowledge retention and business continuity
• Set team goals and manage team performance, manage and grow team members to meet company’s people agenda
• Actively participate in continuous improvement in driving process efficiency and effectiveness, as well as looking into standardization of C2C processes
• Manage stakeholders’ expectation and resolve critical issue
• Support the implementation of global initiatives and project migration

Essential requirements

• You should have a Bachelor Degree qualification, preferably with related accounting and finance qualification.
• Strong C2C knowledge and SAP would be an advantage
• Leadership experience of at least 2 to 3 years
• To be a team player, working collaboratively in fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and deadlines
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Self-driven and independent to drive improvements within the organization
