Job Description

Cognitive AI (CAI) lab is a group of AI researchers and cognitive scientists based out of Intel Labs, and we are focusing on understanding what will characterize the next generations of AI systems. We are looking for a Research Scientist Intern to support a project developing a benchmark suite for next-generation Cognitive AI systems. The project will involve designing and testing a dataset and assessment metric that could tease out model performance along one or more capability dimensions that are not handled well by modern AI systems. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Minimum Qualifications The candidate should be pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Machine Learning or related discipline 1+ years' experience in below areas: Python3 Numpy and PyTorch, up to date with modern AI research in at least one sub-domain, Git Preferred Qualifications: An interest in AI benchmarks Solid RND Skills Design of and participation in benchmark challenges for AI Machine learning, transformer models, CNNs, DQNs, etc. Knowledge representation 3D modeling

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
