    伴侣动物市场专员-保健产品Companion animal product marketing specialist-Health Care range



    Job summary

    1、Market support: Responsible for defining, implementing and monitoring a marketing budget about Companion Animals Products (CAP) Health Care range distributed in both offline and online channels. To plan and prepare agenda as per Virbac China’s general strategy and sales objectives of the year. To provide related support to CAP offline & online sales team.


    2、Market assessment: Evaluate the market’s potential of products from Virbac and Licensing In and present full analysis based on segments sizes and developments, knowledge about official and non-official competitors, channels of distribution and market trends.


    3、Market innovation: Define all types of new services, promotional offers and tools, product re-positioning or new presentations to offer to Virbac’s offline (vets & pet owners) and online (pet owners) customers. Evolve Virbac Companion Animals products positioning, messaging and branding as per channel of distribution and customer’s type.


    4、To assert effectiveness, discipline and professionalism at every stage of the marketing process.


    Key Tasks


    • Product Management:
      -> Set objectives, develop and implement marketing strategies for the products. Translate such
      strategies into annual marketing budgets, plans and agendas to be implemented and updated
      all along the year in direct relation with the sales targets promotional offers and agenda.
      • > Plan and maintain successful marketing program(s) as per Virbac China global strategy offline
      and online including participation in pet fairs, promotional material to be used on website,
      wechat, shops online, in clinic, in magazines and through all defined channels of communication. ->To have control, follow up and report about the marketing expenses according to the
      implementation of the marketing plans.

    • Market & Product Analysis:
      ->To monitor marketing activity via marketing intelligence. Maintain a network of contacts to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the marketing place. Monitor and assess sales activity by product to ensure performance is clearly understood and used to set product targets and/or objectives.
      • >To research customers’ needs and recommend new products to register

    • Link with Opinion Leaders, Decision Makers and Veterinary and Pet Associations/Organizations and online influencers:
      • >To develop a long standing relationship between Virbac China and the key persons and
      organizations of the market
      • > To define influencing actors in online market, suggest activities and build related relationship
      network accordingly

    • Conferences:
      -> To organize and prepare all congresses, seminars, workshops, meetings where Virbac is active.
      Attend as required to support CAP Sales team.

    • Communication:
      • >To ensure that easy and shared communication occurs with CAP National Sales Manager and
      Sales Team
      • > To freely and frequently communicate with the GMBO (Global Marketing and Business
      Optimization department) of Virbac Group such as with any affiliate of experience to help us
      develop Virbac China’s activity
      • > To jointly work with CAP Online Sales Representative in the preparation and implementation of
      the web marketing activities

    • Reporting:
      • > To provide monthly updated marketing, plans and agendas.
      • > To provide the required reports when requested for either domestic or international use



    Preferred profile and experience

    Qualifications

    • Veterinarian with Master or PhD degree, alternatively minimum Master degree in Medical or Pharmaceutical Science or with Groomer qualification or in pet merchandizing

    • Fluent in English


      Experience

      Experience in medical marketing is mandatory and/or pet industry would be highly appreciated as described below:

  • A veterinarian or a groomer having passed his Mastery Degree

  • First experience in a Companion Animals clinic or grooming or pet shop


  • First experience in marketing: market evaluation, promotion, congresses, etc…

    • Some relations with professors and opinion leaders

    • Some relations with Companion Animals leading practitioners, pet shops , grooming associations
