Major Responsibilities of Position 主要岗位职责

? Develop 3D models and associated 2D drawings on selected 3D modeling type workstations.

? Work with FEA engineers to ensure all structural targets are achieved with a manufacturable design.

? On occasion may be asked to work directly with the customer to provide design support.

? Defines and manages all CAD files and documents relating to assigned development projects, working directly for the assigned development engineer for each project.

? Keeps design project record of all CAD activities related to assigned projects.对所有CAD活动的设计进行纪录。

? Perform feasibility studies on potential design solutions.对潜在的设计方案进行可行性研究。

? Ensures all drawings produced are in accordance with all internal and external standards and procedures

? Assures 3D model integrity and produces 3D models in accordance with internal modeling standards.

? Maintains drawing/model records. 维护图纸/模型记录。

? Receives (via FTP site, TeamCenter access), translates, and sends CAD/CAE files to customers and suppliers

? Attends design meetings with engineers where relevant to CAD tasks.
