We are seeking a Director of the Cloud Application (CApS) Services Engineering team. This high-profile role is responsible for overall deliverables of the Services Engineering Team as facilitating the release of new SaaS based Offerings that are key to the companies Cloud Initiatives as well as enabling the service delivery team to operate the software at scale. Primarily focus area for this role would be to provide direction and coordinate multiple technological workstreams by providing leadership across multiple stakeholders & teams. Location required to be in the United States mainland near an existing DI SW office. Responsibilities: Deliberate with management, production, and services staff on the possible requirements and procedures for an offering Organize and manage projects, making detailed plans that work towards the fulfillment of a set objective Examine technology, organizational resources and the demands of the market in order to plan or give procedures for projects which are practicable or possible Direct, evaluate, and confirm offering design and changes Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees in their relevant workstreams Supervise the development and maintenance of staff abilities and suitability in the organization Set behavior and technical goals for the Services Engineering Organization aligned with Siemen’s principles Consult or negotiate with stakeholders to make arrangements of resources required for a project Setup schemes or designs, and also elaborate reports and results to clients Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the business process and technical work performed in the organization Perform administrative functions such as evaluating and writing reports, approving expenditures concerning projects. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master / Bachelor level); Minimum experience 6 years Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud Infrastructure Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must Communication Skill: Directors of Services Engineering have excellent communication skills which they utilize when instructing and directing employees Critical Thinking: Require good logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify weaknesses and strengths of alternative solutions or approaches to problems Organizational skill: Must possess ability to navigate a multitude of technical and business topics and provide guidance for the organization.
