Job Description

As part of the Client Computing Group, you will be defining and bringing to reality, solutions that delight customers and grow Intel's business. Your day-to-day deliverables will have a common objective: making it easier, faster and cheaper to innovate with Intel Architecture as compared with Intel's competition.
In this role, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of the electrical validation software tools that Intel provides to external customers. You will provide these customers with direct support as well as providing technical guidance to a remote team of engineers working for the same goal.
This is a unique position that requires familiarity and experience with both hardware and software. You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the Input-Output (IO) electrical behavior correlates to the expected reference specs based on the excitation/stimulus created by the electrical validation software.
  • The debugging of these correlation issues requires both understanding the electrical behavior of different electrical interconnects as well as debugging the software that produces these stimuli.
  • Examples of customer support include educating the customer on the usage of the tool, assisting with data collection and debugging tool issues the customer may experience, understanding customer's technical needs and methods of work to better adapt our tools to their needs.
  • When not providing direct customer support you will be working on electrical validation activities for the rest of Intel customers as well as developing automated solutions for these validation activities, always focused to improve Intel's quality and delivery time.
  • Your tasks will include delighting external and internal customers, working closely with product owners, project managers, electrical engineers, technicians and developers under an Agile methodology environment.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, similar technical STEM degree or equivalent experience in lieue of degree.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English Level
  • Understanding of electrical validation methodologies on multiple High Speed IOs
  • Knowledge and experience on developing automation software using python
  • Must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience with Agile
  • 1+ years experience working on Electrical Validation. Debugging and diagnosing electrical behavior at platform level and miscorrelations between hardware behavior and multiple stack software issues.
  • Proven record of successfully worked in a team setting, across cultural and geographical boundaries in cross-geography teams.
  • Proven experience in managing and influencing customers and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Angular

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
