Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines creative design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development. Also includes Analog, MixedSignal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.   

Required Technical Skills:

• You should possess a minimum of Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree.
• Intermediate English level
• Candidate must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica

Additional to this, successful candidates will possess:

• Experience in software design/development platform using C++, Python and C Sharp .NET
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular
• Experience with server-side technologies (RESTful Web API)
• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, source control management, testing methodologies
• Demonstrate experience in software troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Familiar with database design and non SQL databases like MongoDB
• Familiar with Agile methods (Scrum)

Desirable Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud applications development is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (cloud services, Kubernetes, basic networking) is a plus
