• This is an exciting biotech startup in China with a small but highly experienced team and a unique pipeline of biologics in immunology and immune-oncology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute on the company's strategies as approved by the Board. Raise capitals to ensure the company's healthy and sustainable growth.
• Lead a small but experienced R&D team to establish and deliver on milestones and objectives. Ensure the smooth operation of the company
• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations to populate the company's pipeline
• and to maximize the value of the portfolio. Realize shareholders' value and achieve an exit via successful IPO or M&A
• Provide inspiring leadership company wide. Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale
• Work closely with HR to recruit and maintain a high-performance team. Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. Develop and implement operational policies. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
• Act as the spokesperson for the company at public events and with media outlets to promote the company

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharma, biotech or related industries, preferably in drug development
• Proven track record of leading complex organizations achieving significant measurable successes, such as product commercial launches, regulatory approvals, M&As and IPOs
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude in establishing and growing startups
• Possesses both strategic vision and operational abilities necessary for the long-term success of animble organization
• Hands-on experience of operating both in the US and China. In-depth knowledge of the Chinese business and regulatory environment
• Successful track record of serial fundraising, from Series A to pre-IPO. Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow management, general finance and budgeting
• Performs well under pressure. Ability to make tough decisions basing on limited information at critical moments
