CEO - Innomotics UK Due to retirement, after 39 years, this rare opportunity has presented itself. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with experience of working in matrix reporting structure across a global organisation. The CEO will serve as a role model for the UK and beyond, by living and promoting ownership culture and entrepreneurship. The candidate should have a consistent track record in leading and driving consultative based system business and have the capabilities to lead our team (70+ employees) in UK. You must have a strong sales drive, strategic vision, and validated leadership skills to implement ongoing projects and drive and lead our business growth. The Role The CEO is part of the Innomotics global management team, reporting directly to the Head of Innomotics Europe & Africa (EA) in located in Germany. A majority of your team are based in Manchester along with yourself. We would offer relocation if required. The scope of the CEO role: Health and Safety: Promote Zero Harm – no compromise on safety, anywhere, anytime. Deliver the numbers: Achieve targets agreed with HQ. Produce and agree the budget vital to deliver revenue and profit targets. Monitor the P&L of the UK company in cooperation with the CFO. Best Place to Work: Ensure the business strategy is understood and implemented throughout the business. Set and review objectives, motivating the team to achieve them; recognising and rewarding when they do. Select, train and develop staff. Act as coach, advising, guiding and sharing best practice. Make Innomotics an attraction for talent growth and retention. Happy Customer: Position and maintain the Company as a strategic partner with major customers by making valuable contributions to their business. Develop customer satisfaction and hence loyalty. Deliver financial targets with chosen business partners. Breed a culture of "Customer First". Strategy: Develop, implement and maintain strategic plans for the business, identifying market potential and innovative approaches for long-term growth in market share. Measure the achievement of strategy, and to subject the business plan to regular reviews. Business Development: Implement and lead systematic business development. Understand competitor positions and strategy. Develop and maintain market share. Participate in the negotiation and execution of contracts. Identify and effectively integrate ongoing and future acquisitions. Market leadership: Identify market requirements and portfolio gaps. Compliance: Operate to the highest, moral, ethical and business standards, handle risk to protect the Innomotics brand. Ensure the company operates in accordance with Corporate Governance Standards. Monitor and review policy compliance within the Company. Quality: Foster continuous improvement. Safeguard the quality of products, services and processes. Governance: Act as one of the statutory Directors of the company, ensuring that, along with the CFO, all legal requirements are fulfilled. Capabilities • Domain understanding of requirements and customer value drivers in Process Industries (Energy, Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Minerals, Mining, etc.) • Business development / sales experience in Drives Technology, and Customer Service • Guide management and leadership across various business areas with some international experience across matrix organisations • Strong analytical ability to develop strategy and forecasting models for regional business and sales systematics for sales growth • Experience and knowledge of consultative selling in projects • Knowledge and skill set in digitalisation, organisational change management and transformation, developing and implementing new business models • Eloquent and comfortable with public speaking and social media Essential Pre-requisites: Good communication: Always try to make sure that customers and the team are kept informed so that they have the required information to allow them to do their job effectively. Previous exposure to foreign cultures would be beneficial, along with experience of different business and communication styles Able to build trust: establish good relationships based on respect for business and technical knowledge Engineering and technical: Extensive knowledge across a wide range of electrical technologies and associated industries.
