Job Overview
The department of Product Validation Engineering is recruiting for a CI Project Manager/Support Manager. The role is responsible for leading strategic department initiatives and projects, set-up and facilitate workshops/strategy sessions, coordinate global collaboration activities, and assist with the day-to-day operation of the organization. The ideal candidate will have high organizational awareness and will be independent and able to exercise good judgement while working in a fast-paced environment. The role supports the strategic direction of the department, so candidates must possess an ability to engage in discussions, facilitate and drive change. This person must be able to communicate effectively with Executives and adjust messaging to fit the audience.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating PVE’s highest level strategic initiatives and operational projects

- Implement and maintain a department wide strategy deployment process, which supports planning, tracking, reporting and prioritization of tasks across the department

- Coordinate the various strategic and tactical Continuous Improvement projects in the department. This includes the setup of the initial plan or strategy, target setting, execution and tracking

- Lead projects independently, on behalf of the department head

- Organize and facilitate workshops and events (e.g. strategy workshops, town halls, project specific workshops)

- Develop and report on department KPIs

- Organization development (e.g. core/non-core analysis, staffing analysis

- Represent the department in committees and various initiatives within DTNA (e.g. TOS, CX, CI Day)

- Conduct data analysis and gather information to enable best decisions

- Prepare Executive presentations

- Establish and broaden the network and cooperation with other areas in DTNA and Daimler

- Champion Great Place to Work Initiatives and hold organization accountable
