Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a CMM Technician on 1st shift to join our team. This position is based at our North Charleston, SC location. This position is currently offering relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus of $3,000*; less applicable withholding. In this function you will: Maintain, troubleshoot, and validate CMM equipment for the Charleston Machining Center. Identify and recommend appropriate gaging technology for specific features and tolerances. Write and execute CMM programs, design and order fixturing for part layouts, capability studies, and first/last piece inspections for current and new products. Attend training sessions as necessary for software updates and improvements. Assist Quality Engineers, Supervisor and Quality Manager in the continuous improvement of the CMM support service. Support Measurement System Analysis activities such as Gage R&Rs. Writing and editing CMM-related Procedures. Recognize and recommend potential savings and process improvements. Support company quality manual and AS9100 requirements in order to maintain compliance. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required. Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience with knowledge of, and experience with, GD&T and Hand Tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc.) Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
