Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position

• Relationship Management – Establish appropriate KPI’s to manage the service and identify areas for improvement, report service KPI status and progress regularly to appropriate forums.
• Application/Infrastructure Support – Implement IT application/infrastructure support model for PD Labs in China,
• Support DR/BCP – Be accountable to ensure DRP and BCP are up-to-date, and are tested annually
• Fixed Asset (Infr. /Licences) Life cycle Management – Manages TSL/eAsets for IT Assets in PD Labs in China, ensure annual Assets Life Cycle review is performed and proper technical refresh project identified and planned.
• Procurement Management
• Compliance Management – Manages ACR/ICR/SoA for PD Labs. Implement IT control plan, ensure each control items are regularly reviewed and performed
• Change Management/support – Ensure each IT changes follow change control process
• IT Vendor management
• Consultation on local script/app development
• Coordination of corporate IT services management

Soft skill

• A strong customer focus with the ability to engage effectively with peers within the region and globally (time-zones);
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels;
• Good communication/presentation skill in both English and Chinese(written and oral);

Functional / Technical

• Understand IT Service model/concept(ITIL)
• Understand Fixed Asset Lifecycle Management
• Understand the Requirement of Regulatory Compliance Management
• Understand Testing Environment of Automotive, Methodology, process, and Technical/IT solution;
• Experience on IT infra, network

Playing a key role in product development Ford’s elite REC team helps to accelerate the introduction of exciting new Ford technologies to China. Manufacturing technology is another major focus of REC, with our researchers and engineers designing systems, processes, components and state-of-the-art technology into all our vehicles in APA. In addition, as home for Ford’s China Purchasing Office, REC purchasing buyers and engineers manage supplier relationships, set manufacturing strategies, and collaborate with key suppliers on developing new technologies.
