Eaton’s Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking an Machinist-Lathes to join our team on 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Glenolden, PA facility. Starting Pay: $24.00/hour + 10% shift differential Shift Hours: 3-11:30PM Position Overview: Responsible for setting up and operating various CNC Mills and Lathes in order to produce parts to engineering technical drawings. Identify and use proper tools, gages, and equipment for the process. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Interpret blueprints generated per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 guidelines (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing). Set up and run CNC lathes (2 axis), manual lathes and/or mills along with simple machine tools such as drill presses, manual presses, saws and shears. Interpret and edit “G-code” NC programs Inspect GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) features using basic inspection techniques such as vernier, micrometers, indicators, comparators, bore mics. Assisting Manufacturing Engineering with most intermediate troubleshooting on machining product. Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency (cost). Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in trade as a machinist or tool maker and/or a technical degree/certificate in machining. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
