CNIBR R&D Trainee Program

The CNIBR R&D Trainee Program recruits young talent with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences and offers scientific and professional training in Novartis Shanghai Campus.
Hosted by China Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (CNIBR) in Shanghai, one of the top R&D centers of Novartis globally, the CNIBR Research and Development (R&D) Trainee Program recruits young talent with a Bachelor or Master’s degree and offers scientific and professional training with Novartis leading scientists as mentors in the state-of-the-art Novartis Shanghai Campus.
During the two-year program, trainees will receive fundamental training that equips them with essential skills and knowledge in real-world drug discovery and perform scientific assignments with their mentors in the open and diverse lab settings.
Those who deliver a strong performance upon completion of the program will have the opportunity to apply for opening positions at CNIBR.

- Bachelor or Master graduates within 1 year post graduation
- Major in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine or a related field with average GPA above 3.0 (4.0 scale) in major courses
- Working experience in research laboratory and hands-on experience in molecular cloning, western blot, real-time PCR, and cell culture are highly desired
- Self-motivated to develop career in biopharmaceutical industry
- Strong learning capability and willing to concentrate on lab research
- English skill required- good reading comprehension, basic writing and speaking
- Good team player
