Working as part of the Advancement team and reporting directly to the Director of Advancement, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and flexible Advancement Manager to join us. The Advancement Manager will be maintaining the public image of GSIS by increasing positive exposure through effective communication and fundraising initiatives. Ensure uniformity and transparency in the key messages delivered to all stake holders.

• Help to formulate strategies together with Director of Advancement and carry out initiatives in
• Brand building
• Corporate communications
• Public relations
• Fund raising and events
• Coordinate production of brochures and marketing/communication materials
• Make contacts to press and assist in press releases, general articles and other content that the school wishes to use to promote its image and brand.

REQUIREMENTS

• Appropriate professional education in journalism, communication, marketing & sales, public relations or related discipline
• 5-8 years or more professional experience
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Hong Kong communication culture desirable
• Chinese language skills would be advantageous
• Affinity to education-related / student-related work
• Self-starter with drive and initiative
• Analytical with strong presentation skills
