Job Description
Eaton's Electrical Sector, Critical Power & Distributed IT (CPDI) division, Critical Power Solutions (CPS) business is currently seeking a Product Line Manager for our Energy Transition product line. The Energy Transition PLM will lead CPDI's Lithium, Energy Storage, Energy Aware UPS, & Electric Vehicle DC charger start-up business. The position is located in Raleigh, NC. This PLM will be responsible for establishing the complete go-to-market strategy and positioning Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions business as a leader in the emerging energy transition segment. With a specific focus on the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) 7 EVCI Americas market, they will be responsible for: creating and executing the growth strategy, establishing the value propositions within the C&I & EVCI space identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities developing the product portfolio and positioning in alignment with the Critical Power Solutions (CPS) portfolio. responsible for all merger & acquisition activities including: identification of portfolio gaps and acquisition targets, market research, and inorganic growth strategies. work closely with other global regions (EMEA, APAC) to coordinate and execute global energy transition product line strategies. work closely with existing 3PH UPS product line management team on the launch and growth of the Energy and Grid aware related technology enablers. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited educational institution. Minimum of 10 years electrical industry and/or professional experience required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing / management and / or segment marketing required Preferred Qualifications: 5 years Product Line Management / Marketing Direct Sales / account management experience (C level) MBA Position Criteria Ability to lead strategically and development business with proven record of business / strategic plan development & implementation Ability to think and act strategically Strong learning agility Strong management and cross-functional management capabilities; proven ability to manage P&L Ability to conduct market research to understand customer needs.
