This is a CPM (MES) Engineer role reporting to the Product Marketing Manager in the Business Area - Process Automation, located in Beijing or Chongqing in China. You will be responsible for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) business consulting and lead project technical solution design. You will also be involved in MES project implementation and management in pulp and paper industry, software design and development, project-related documentation and customer training.

Your responsibilities

• Providing broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in pulp and paper industry.
• Working in a project driven environment and deliver accordingly.
• Being proficient and having the capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
• Developing and administrating the configuration management and development environment and preparing clear concise documentation.
• Building good communication channel with customer.
• Building good communication channels within Sales and R&D and collecting of customer information.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science/process control or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) applications for process industry, experience in pulp & paper industry would be a plus.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of MES project delivery.
• Knowledge of application database structure design of MS SQL/Oracle/RTDB
• Proficient in programming of VS c#.net, Java Script. Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills with good presentation and communication skills.
• Must be a team-player, self-motivated and result driven.
