Eaton Corporation is recruiting a: EMEA CPS – Head of Customer PMO – Critical Systems Job Summary As part of the CPS (Critical Power Solutions) Leadership Team, directly reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Customer PMO is responsible to manage the whole customer project portfolio, lead the Project Manager team in charge of the E2E project execution and the associated financials, providing clear and timely status reports. For this, you will leverage the central Project Management that is providing resources, process, tools, and support functions. Job Responsibilities Interface to the Customer Projects tendering team to ensure the clarity of technical solution and that the project margin is meeting the BU P&L expectation (Gate keeper in project selection at early sales stage) Responsible of the BU sign-off on the executive deal review steps and adherence to process (risk assessment, and classification) Coordinate and direct the customer project activities Control pricing clauses application Deliver project to agreed time, quality, and margin Establish governance and metrics to monitor, control and report performance of the projects leveraging the central tools and functions Monitor & report overall performance (including through metrics) during all phases of the project and develops as well as implements corrective action & recovery plans as required. Align project financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting and ensure transparency in demand for resources required to deliver on project targets. Responsible to lead the forecasting / SIOP for all the BU Customer Projects among all stakeholders (sales org., finance...) Ensure management of risks and opportunities within the projects to enable achievement of requirements and goals. Make decisions related to action plans and ensure early escalations to address risks and significant issues in programs and key processes. Ensure effective and open communication throughout the program team and with stakeholders Team and senior stakeholders across the business to provide a solid foundation for collaboration and appropriate challenge to ensure successful delivery of plans. Lead the execution of a PMO governance, portfolio reporting, and framework Manage the BU Systems Engineers and Production Project Managers that are dedicated to the BU Manage All BU Presales and aftersales support Organize with the central PM team the project managers planning efforts Lead continuous improvement process: postmortem project analysis in terms of margin, Quality, .... and owner of related Process improvements activities Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred. Years and area of experience required: 10+ years of business experience of which 6-10 in Program, project or portfolio Management. Experience in utilities, Data Center, or equivalent industries. Technical knowledge: Previous experience in managing a portfolio of important projects and large budgets within an industrial environment Fully proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools ideally in an industrial environment Project Management certification such as PMP would be an advantage Experience in managing complex programs delivered across multiple locations and partner companies. Lead the execution of a PMO governance, portfolio reporting, and framework SAP knowledge Technical background. Soft skills: Proven leadership skills - capability to lead change in a cross-functional team environment across multiple sites globally Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to senior leadership teams and external stakeholders Fluent in English Must be capable of leading effectively in diverse cultural situations Proactive mind-set with desire for clear accountability and ownership Drive for transparency & risk management to minimize surprises +/- 50% travel time involved. #LI-JC2 Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
