In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
- Develops preSilicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements
- Creates test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests
- Analyzes and uses results to modify testing
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering experience in/with:
Hardware modeling languages, such as Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog and industry standard logic simulation tools
Industry standard formal verification tools such as JasperGold, IFV, Questa Formal, VC Formal
Test bench development concepts and languages like Specman, System Verilog UVM/OVM
Test writing/generation, checker development, coverage analysis, failure debug, root cause analysis
Programming in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, Java, TCL, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with:
In-depth computer architecture with emphasis on out of order processor execution
Intel or industry experience in pre-silicon verification of CPU cores, including specific areas of technical ownership/expertise relevant to CPUs

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
