What is CRA Clinical Training Institute

• The CRA Is are selected and hired by the dedicated Clinical Training Institute group and the future Business Unit of the CRA I together
• All the CRA Is in Syneos undergoes 4 months of focused training time before any study assignment
• During this time they are managed and mentored by an Syneos Manager of Clinical Operations (COM), who oversees their learning progress and performance
• Syneos has developed the industry-leading, competence-based “Monitoring Essentials” curriculum. This program is independently accredited by IAOCR and all our entry level CRAs undergo robust assessment for the Foundation Level “IAOCR Qualified Clinical Research Monitor Certification” (an internationally recognizable standard).
• As part of this curriculum, the CRA undergoes live classroom, self-paced, and face to face simulation activities to practice all aspects of the onsite monitoring
• The CRA Is has to participate on multiple training visits with experienced trainer CRAs
• At the end of the training program The CTI evaluates the CRAs based on 47 technical and professional skills, behavior or knowledge points before they get the green light to start the study work

Requirement

• Bachelor’s level degree in pharmacy or life sciences.
• Minimum 1 year as a CRA/CTA/PS/CRC experience preferred
• Global studies experience is essential
• Ability to communicate in English
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
