Job Description

Process Engineers at Tooling Repair Bay (TRB) Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations. 

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct offline equipment adjustment, ensure process optimization and become an expert on different products/collaterals. 

Responsible for PM follow up/creation, troubleshooting BKMs, spares, and sustaining.

Responsible for improvement processes, to achieve collaterals health and stability. 

Responsible for the trainer, and certifier levels.

Participate in safety/quality forums as required.

Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. High degree of judgment and initiative/proactive attitude is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations, also follow up to gap closure

Selected candidate will be required to work on-site

Conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process.

Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, test techniques and optimizing production output for existing products.

Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.

Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting metrology and processes reactively when something has changed on the TRB or proactively in order to maximize module/TRB output.

General knowledge on data análisis tools such as Jump, Minitab, PBI, SQL Pathfinder.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelors or Licentiate Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electro Mechanic or related field.
-3 years of experience on a High Volume Manufacturing environment AND experience on Problem Solving Methodologies, Data analysis, JMP, Minitab, SQL, Pathfinder others
-High Intermediate English Level.

Preferred Qualifications
- Computer Science knowledge
- Knowledge of microprocessor test and finish equipment and process
- LEAN and Six Sigma
