A Space Planner is responsible for the development of space plans and strategies that effectively meet the needs of the customers located at their assigned campus, and will drive the optimization of space utilization and facilities in alignment with Corporate Services strategic objectives.

As CR Space Planner your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Develop a strong business partnership with their customers to understand their space and facilities needs.
Develop 12-18 month space plans to accommodate space and facilities needs.
Space inventory management and space negotiations.
Maintain accurate records of space inventory, databases/maps, and facilities layouts, conduct capacity/utilization studies, space auditing.
Site Master Plan development and management.

The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

- Results orientation, managing and prioritizing projects and tasks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written/presentations), including communicating complex data effectively.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or related area.
Intermediate to advanced English Level

3+ years of experience in the following areas: Facilities planning and layout, architectural/interior design principles; Project management and move coordination in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit

Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Certification.
Office suite proficiency (excel, word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, etc.)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
