In this position, you will work as Liquid Industrial Water System (LIWS) technician. You will be interacting with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining Liquid Industrial waste treatment systems. The successful candidate will be required to work a compressed work week schedule.
This role requires working the Intel shift pattern:
� Day Shift Rota - 1 month / 4 weeks
� Night Shift Rota - 1 month / 4 weeks
� BE-FE Rota Swap - 6 monthly
� Hours of work 7-7:20
Your responsibilities will include:
� Operating and maintaining LIWS systems which support our operations facilities
� Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures
� Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Occlusion, Adsorption and Reduction of impurities in Industrial Waste systems
� Maintaining Analytical equipment (Preventative Excursion Management Systems) Chemical precipitation of Industrial Waste systems
� Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software
� Interacting with factory and other customers and stakeholders
� Role modeling safety and be involved in Emergency Response Team (ERT)Treatability studies of different chemical constituents feeding Industrial Waste systems
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
� Apprenticeship in Mechanical background, Fitting, Plumbing or similar.
� NCEA Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent. Minimum of FETAC level 6.
� Minimum of years experience
� Able to lift a minimum of 30lbs and work ergonomically within in confined spaces.
� Able to perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment.
� Able to work from heights and climb ladders.
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, strong organization and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
� Waste Water certification or equivalent would be an added advantage Facilities maintenance experience.
� Hands-on instrumentation experience (i.e. control valves, flow transmitters, level transmitters, etc.)
� Ability to excel as an individual contributor and part of a team and work effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines.
Job Type: Full Shift 3yrs Experience
Able to work day/night shift and weekends to maintain minimum staffing for 24x7 operations.
