In this position, you will work as part of the FMS Sustaining Team.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and control of equipment on site
FMS system owner who has safety as a value
Ensures that all equipment is in a safe state and maintenance is carried out as safely as possible
A Quality lens is essential, ensuring any quality issues on your system are tracked and closed to ensure they don't reoccur.
You will be part of a team which you will work and learn
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Instrument/Controls Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with an emphasis on power/utility systems is required.
Excellent Knowledge of computer software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,and Projects is required
Ability to communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; from engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
Must have excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate the application of structured problem-solving methods and tools.
Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team.
Preferred Requirements
Provide projects and sustaining controls engineering support at our facilities. Act as one of Intel's System Owner of the sites PLC controls system. Experience of ALLEN Bradley Control Logix hardware and programming is a distinct advantage .
Sustaining engineering responsibilities:
Modeling the controls system and track changes; Troubleshooting the controls system problems, Systematic problem solving, Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions; driving capital budgets for system upgrades; providing technical leadership to IFM and contractors
Work Closely with the Sustaining Facilities controls Engineers. Understand and model the operational excellence of the team.
